Before Christmas we had the privilege of getting together with our favorite photographer, Catherine Keene, for a Celebrating Adoption photo session. Celebrating Adoption is an amazing group of photographers who donate their time to capture adoptive children, within their first year of coming home, on "film". You can read all about the organization at
http://www.celebratingadoption.org/ . The standard Celebrating Adoption package includes a free session with the photographer and a free proof book of photos taken during the session. Then it is up to the adoptive parents if they want to order additional photos.
We were blessed by Catherine's work when she did a Celebrating Adoption photo shoot of Sarah Mei in 2007. She also took Sarah Mei and Isabelle's photos in the fall when they were asked to represent the American Heart Association in Charleston at the MUSC Heart Walk. Her photography is amazing, and she didn't disappoint us this time as she captured Isabelle on our farm!
